Aetna Medicaid is hiring a Customer Insights Manager to support our Medicaid Health Plans.

Our Customer Insights Manager will manage the development, project management, execution and communication of primary and secondary market research, as well as business and competitive intelligence insights. Collaborate and consult with others at Aetna, including internal clients and business stakeholders. Identify and manage required resources for key initiatives. Participate in education and training.

Fundamental Components:

(*) Consult with business leaders on product development and innovation initiatives. Lead market research efforts in support of new product development and product management as it relates to Aetna's consumer markets

(*) Dynamically discuss agenda with business users throughout the year and adapt agenda to meet changing market conditions.

(*) Analyze customer insights and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision making.

(*) Prioritizes work, forecasts, and schedules and coordinates resources.

(*) Organizes multiple tasks and projects independently, which are reviewed in terms of achieving goals, generally over an extended period of time.

(*) Capable of organizing group projects, working collaboratively and with multiple dependencies.

(*) Actively contribute to functioning of team, sharing information and driving internal projects.

(*) Project management including managing market research professionals, and vendors and details of projects, such as timelines, sample, data feeds, data security, research logistics and budgets.

(*) Serve on cross-functional project teams as a customer insights and analytical thought leader.

(*) Write reports and present findings independently.

(*) Dynamically address questions and follow up on additional analysis and interpretation as needed

(*) Must be capable of working with primary, secondary and marketing analytics information. Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative primary market research methods required

(*) Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within a professional or market research field or recognized body of formal knowledge. This includes knowledge required for complex problems or analysis.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

(*) 5 years related experience: Healthcare market research, Consumer market research, Demographic research, Product research, Data Analytics & Analysis, Consumer survey experience

(*) 3 years of health care experience, preferably in Medicaid or Medicare.

(*) Proficiency with Qualtrics, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Tableau a plus.

(*) Self- starter and independent thinker

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Position is open to our Phoenix and Hartford offices. Prefer candidates to be office based; may consider PT work from home depending on experience. Period of in office training may be required first.
