This new hire will work in McCormick's US Consumer Products Division, located in Gretna, Louisiana and current responsibility will cover Texas to Florida. The Customer Business Manager I will report to a Customer Business Manager II.

The Customer Business Manager I is responsible for the achievement of Customer/Zone volume objectives, budgets and planning.  Execution of Retail controllables, broker management and customer and/or zone ownership is a key responsibility to the success of this position.    


\tDeveloping and delivering customer plans to achieve volume objectives and primary and day-to-day selling interface at customer HQ.
\tManage direct account sales of McCormick product offerings, policies and procedures, scorecarding, performance reviews, determine pricing, forecast & distribution for existing brands and new products.
\tSell-in of retail controllables with customer (mix, promotion, shelf, display) and manage deal negotiations.


\tBachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
\t4 years Sales, Marketing or related experience with a minimum of 2 years experience managing HQ customer base. 
\tExcellent analytical, problem solving, communication & organization skills.
\tStrong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills.
\tStrong computer and analytical skills. 
\tKnowledge of procedures & concepts within the Sales function and basic knowledge in other areas, such as sales operations, supply chain, and marketing.
\tUnderstanding of how Sales integrates with other commercialization areas – marketing, supply chain and finance.
\tUnderstands industry sector and competitive landscape
\tValid drivers license
\tMust be willing to travel at least 25% to 50%


\tExpert knowledge of CPG products, mix & impact to profit, and awareness of store conditions and current & best practices within area preferred.
