Prepares and serves hot and cold foods for all hospital food related functions. Sets-up and displays food, cleans work areas, and maintains sanitation standards.

Education Background

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Culinary Degree preferred.

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Current Washington State Food Handler's Permit is required.

Work Experience

At least two years institutional, restaurant or commercial cooking experience is required (one year of culinary training may replace one year of experience).

Hospitality experience desirable.

Physical Abilities

For the efficient delivery of services to customers, this job requires sufficient English-language skills to understand and be understood when interacting with customers, visitors, patients, coworkers, and management.

20 to 50 pounds occasionally
