Department Description

The North America Cash Management team supports all finance and accounting activities of Order to Cash process for large system implementations in US and Canada. The role will partner with various MSI groups as well as customers to support accurate logging of new projects, billing, project reconciliations and timely cash collections.

Job Description

This position is for an accounts receivables analyst supporting all credit processes within the Federal Direct Business. The role will partner with various MSI groups as well as customers to support order release, billing, project reconciliations and timely cash collections.

Responsibilities include:

Support order release process ensuring all required documentation is received and in order fulfilling audit requirements.

Partner with Sales organization in this effort.

Reconcile customer accounts, analyze unbilled AR and process billing according to Federal Government contract requirements (this includes billing using the WWAF system and fulfilling UID contract requirements)

Maintain a workbook for large system contracts which covers documentation of all revenue and billing/payment activity.

Participate in workbook automation project and transitioning data into a cloud-based solution

Monitor activity of accounts portfolio and resolve any accounts receivable issues. Contact customers and work with them regarding late payments.

Facilitate and process the product return process.

Provide regular collection forecast reports to management

Support the percentage of completion process (revenue and balance sheet) as well as other department initiatives

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

Credit/Accounts Receivables experience a plus

Understanding of financial metrics, specifically: cash, unbilled, AR, DSO

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to partner with operations and customers

Comfortable working at a detailed level under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents

Process oriented and driven to influence change and process improvements

Strong system skills including Excel. Knowledge of Oracle R12, MOL, COF, and other fulfillment-related systems including federal billing requirements a PLUS

This is approximately a 2-year rotational opportunity. Candidate must be willing to rotate to across the Accounting/ Finance Organization within the Company.

The position will be located in Linthicum, MD but will accommodate in Chicago, IL.

This role may require travel periodically.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting degree from an accredited university
