Cost Accountant – Middletown, OhioAK Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Cost Accountant at our Middletown Works facility.   The Cost Accountant will collect and track expenditures, forecast preparation and month-end closing duties for a manufacturing department.Primary Responsibilities:
The collection of manufacturing cost data, raw material inventory analysis, tracking expenditures, forecast preparation, month-end closing duties, preparation of the annual business plan and related cost variance analysis. 
This position is in a plant manufacturing environment and works closely with plant operating management to improve the cost performance of the operations. 
Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 
3- years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
CPA is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
