Job Responsibilities\u2022 Responsible for the monthly control of accounts payable spending for all Rolling \u2022 Daily\/Weekly\/Monthly managing of the division accounts payable checkbook for all Rolling cost centers - involves the knowledge and functioning of Oracle and OBIEE \u2022 Creating journals for ap corrections - uploaded into Oracle by Rolling Financial Analyst \u2022 Reporting mtd ap and monthly projections based on checkbook to management at weekly cost meetings and whenever necessary [semi-weekly basis] \u2022 Collaborating with the Rolling Financial Analyst \/ Accountant during closing to ensure the proper reporting of Rolling ap cost based on the General Ledger \u2022 Determining unaudited liabilities at month end for inclusion in month end closing costs - send to AP Accounting for journaling; tracking rental equipment purchase orders to determine monthly liabilities \u2022Ensuring all manual unaudited liabilities from Accounting hitting Rolling are reasonable; including these unaudited in checkbook \u2022 Assists managers on all levels to manage their allotted monthly budgets\u2022 Responsible for monitoring and taking the necessary steps for corrections [including corresponding with vendors, expeditors, requestors, receipters] for Oracle reports \u2022 Mismatch Invoice report - troubleshoot and resolve each invoice that does not have the Oracle 3 way match on quantity and\/or dollars [receipt\/invoice\/paid] \u2022 In Progress Receipts report - send out daily to all requestors that need to second step receipt orders \u2022 UVL (unvouchered liability) file - clear up all Rolling items sent on file from AP Accounting \u2022 Open Commitment report\u2022 Responsible for assisting in the formation of Business Plans\/Short Range Plans - SRs \u2022 Keep trend files with details of all costs by area\/department\/cost center \u2022 Assist accounting with labor headcounts\u2022 Generate special purchase orders as well as ensuring that the receipts are done when service is completed and that the invoices are paid correctly to vendor\u2022 Provide vendor support \u2022 Assist Rolling Financial Analyst\/Accountant whenever necessary [beyond mid-month updates, BP\/SRs, closing]RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years work experience supervising crews in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Ability to work rotating shifts which will include extended workdays, weekends, and holidays.Oracle\/OBIEE knowledgeExcelStrong analytical and Organizational abilitiesPreferred candidates will have a Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electrical Maintenance or similar degree program or equivalent years of demonstrated knowledge in a large industrial\/maintenance environment.Preferred candidate will have experience supervising unionized employees or similar military leadership experience.Steel is essential to advancing modern society.
