Correspondence Representative




Provide variety of customer services through mail, telephone, and personal contact in regards to outstanding accounts receivables.

Inventory, review, follow-up, and respond to all correspondence as required for payment.

Send out priority mail for the department and document the tracking information for our records.

Compile all information for both patient and insurance refund packets.

Respond to itemized bill requests.

Communicate with facilities and/or patients for additional information needed for payment of claims.

Document in the Medhost system all verbal and written activities relative to that account.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Good organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision

Knowledge of indemnity insurance practices, contracts and managed care ideal.

Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum one year of computer and high volume medical billing and/or insurance claims processing experience preferred.

Minimum one to two years of customer service experience required.
