We are currently seeking a Corporate Writer to join our Marketing team in Danbury! If you are seeking a position that is focused on writing and editing strategic responses to sell a valuable service, you may be a fit for our Junior Proposal Writer role.
In this role, you will:
Write and edit standard and customized proposals, and craft responses to complex request for proposal (RFP) questionnaires on behalf of Cartus’ Sales and Account Managements teams in support of winning new business or retaining existing clients
Collaborate with all levels of Sales and Account Management teams to ensure documents are strategic and customized to the culture and business needs of companies located not only in the United States but around the world
Organize project tasks contributing to a high-quality RFP standard while maintaining timely progress toward a completed document with multiple stakeholders
Create and maintain proposal language files, and archive completed proposals promptly and correctly to ensure that other writers have access to current information
Proof RFPs, company flyers, blog posts, etc.
Work closely with corporate writers in the UK to harmonize proposal responses and share best practices
Work closely with other Marketing teams on various departmental and ad hoc writing projects
You will definitely catch our attention if you have:
1 years of writing experience required (proposal writing, editing, procurement, grant writing, or journalism, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Journalism, or Professional Writing preferred
Demonstrable writing, editing, organizational, and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word required
Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, and Adobe Reader and Acrobat a plus
Practical experience with Qvidian or other proposal management software a plus
Relocation/real estate industry experience a plus
Accomplishments in creative writing styles (story boarding, brochures, freelance projects, etc.)
