The Corporate Finance Manager
will join Gallagher’s Corporate Finance team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support preparation of the quarterly earnings release as well as monthly and quarterly management reporting
Strategize and prepare for quarterly earnings calls and investor meetings through development of supplemental detail schedules and supporting analyses
Prepare management reports, Board packages, and Investor communications
Utilize financial systems to retrieve and analyze data, perform advanced research and interpret findings that have financial impact, and draw appropriate conclusions to support divisional performance results
Monitor the Corporate Finance process for the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and monthly variance analysis of actuals compared to budget and forecasts
Develop new reports that further the company’s understanding of key operational metrics
Perform various other ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis, as required
Supervise a finance team on monthly and quarterly tasks as well as assist in the hiring process for new team members
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance/supervision
Comfortable taking an issue or idea and translate into analysis ready for presenting to finance executives
Excellent organizational skills – able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Strong financial acumen, problem solving, and financial modeling skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – able to articulate key insights to management and interact effectively with colleagues in Accounting, IT, and divisional operations
7 or more years of related work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related area of study (i.e. quantitative coursework in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience
CFA charterholders and CFA candidates as well as those with MBA and CPA designations are encouraged to apply
A background or coursework in insurance

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
