Corporate Communications Manager

Location: Any US location. Work from home available

The Corporate Communications Manager

is responsible for developing and implementing the internal and/or external corporate communications plan for a business unit. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Leads the research of communication needs and establishes goals and objectives.

Researches, develops, reviews and/or edits communications materials for senior management.

Serves as senior editor of corporate and/or online communications and coordinates with online team in posting of appropriate messages.

Partners with leadership to develop and implement a strategic communications plan in support of the SBU/CEE's overall initiatives.

May be responsible for obtaining bids to ensure cost effective spending on department programs or initiatives.

Provides guidance or direction to team members on departmental projects.


Requires a BA/BS in public relations, journalism, communications or related area

7 years of related experience

Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

MS preferred.

Knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry preferred.
