With the Google Access team, you’ll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with cross-functional team members to refine and evolve our projects, as well as deploy new technologies to markets and communities around the globe. You like being on-the-ground, executing complex projects that bring internet access to people.

As a Contracts Manager for Deals and Compliance at Google Fiber, you will lead a range of complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Your projects often span offices and time zones, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines. As part of the Strategic Negotiation and Partnerships Team, you will aggregate and manage contractual risks, and have a developed understanding of incentive programs within construction and/or manufacturing industries.

You will also be responsible for working with national Network Deployment and Operations (NDO) teams to develop supplier sourcing strategies, oversee the procurement process, develop and maintain a global vendor management database, maintain all relevant deal operations systems and build strong compliance mechanisms. The Contracts Manager will, from time to time, need to help identify opportunities for smarter supplier relationships and more efficient processes.

Be responsible for contract development, contract compliance, management of deal flow and process oversight.

Liaise frequently with Google Fiber’s Strategic Negotiators, legal team members, in-market colleagues, and cross functional partners to develop and operationalize construction, operations and supply chain agreements.

Analyze and recommend proposed pricing, interpret clauses, assist with redlines, draft agreements, performance metrics and compliance.

Assist with Maintenance of Google Fiber’s central contracts templates repository for NDO in partnership with Google Legal.


Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience managing contracts.

Experience tracking and translating technical/non-technical discussions into actionable tasks and next steps.

Preferred qualifications:

Management or in-house legal experience supporting global construction clients.

Lean construction contract knowledge and deep understanding of various incentive programs.
