Caterpillar’s Surface Mining and

Technology division is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to be located

at its Tucson, AZ facility. In this role you will manage and coordinate field

services, meetings, and customers complaints. You will also manage contracts

interpretation, components importing and local costing.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may

include, but are not limited to:



Responsible for leading multiple projects, both domestic and international for

sold Original Equipment


Ensure compliance with the contractual obligations to minimize exposure to

liability, while serving customer needs by setting deadlines, assigning

responsibilities, coordinating Engineering efforts and monitoring/summarizing

progress of projects.


Main point-of-contact for all vested parties relating to Original Equipment

projects, including but not limited to; the end customer, Dealer, Region and

all internal Caterpillar process partners


Effectively resolve field problems regarding the projects and settle customer

claims without compromising customer satisfaction and product integrity.

* Communicate

to management critical problems and issues on machine projects until customer requirements

are met.

* Work

directly with Sales Support Consultant and Region during commercial

negotiations to ensure risk to Caterpillar is minimized and commercial terms

are achievable.

* Provide

back-up for the Sales Support Consultant as needed.  Responsibilities include commercial and

technical support for Regions and Dealers, lead sales and operations planning

process (S&OP), customer visits, voice-of-customer (VOC) and product

strategy teams.

','!*! Basic Qualifications:

* College or university degree

* 3 Years contract management experience


As a Top Candidate you will have:

* Knowledge of Project Management principles and processes

* Knowledge of IncoTerms and basic shipping procedures/documentation

* Knowledge of Letters of Credit

* Knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures

* Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages

* Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize activities accordingly
