Our Contract Administrator

reviews and advises staff on contractual agreements and compliance issues. This includes managing the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of the reviewed contract requirements; conducting complex, sophisticated research and analysis of operational issues, including examination of rules, policies, laws and regulations that impact or potentially impact Gila LLC

This role is also responsible for communications with external associations, and internal stakeholders, management, and addressing contract issues and concerns related to contract activities and initiatives.

The Contract Administrator

has wide latitude in decision making -- often on the spot, to ensure Gila/Navient contracts are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities Include:

Customer contract and vendor document management

Administration and organization of Gila LLC compliance

Regulatory filings and regulatory compliance research

Manage, track, and coordinate contractual insurance and surety requirements, certificate of insurance process to ensure compliance

Coordinate with all business units in disbursement/collection of contractual information

Manage contract filing database and physical records

Work with department management to review overall company contract management process and make modifications/improvements as necessary

Coordinate and analyze contracts

Assist in management of contract/vendor renewal and termination processes

Prepare and manage a variety of compliance and statistical reports

Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Assists in coordination and planning to ensure departments policies and procedures are complying

Evaluate and monitor contract/vendor requirements to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Plan, direct or coordinate one or more administrative services of an organization, such as records and information management

Business Administration

Ensure that contracts and related documents are communicated to all relevant parties to provide visibility and awareness, interpretation when needed

Assists in coordination, planning, development and management of a variety of projects and processes



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required. Additional, relevant experience may substitute.


Five years' business experience. Additional education may substitute.


3-5 years in contract and administrative functions

Knowledge of Salesforce

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong legal writing experience and interpretation experience to supports contract development and compliance.

Ability to evaluate fiscal data for reasonableness, necessity and conformity with contract requirements.

Ability to recommend applicable contract actions based on program knowledge and contracting expertise.

Ability to lead projects to completion in a timely manner. Strong ability to write and edit contract requirements and specifications.

Strong ability to negotiate features of a contract.
