Continuous Improvement Manager

To manage and deliver the end to end implementation of Terex Business Systems and Continuous Improvement. To act as a key change agent to deliver a cultural, systems and methodology transformation from traditional business processes to lean business processes by promoting the Terex Business System (TBS) philosophy and its tools and techniques, managing and leading the change program.
To provide hands on support the roll-out of the Strategy Deployment process and Balanced Scorecards within Terex Equipment Ltd and drive other Business Process Events or Improvements.
To Project Manage, drive, support and achieve the key business metrics.

Lead the development of the TBS strategy and promotes TBS principles.
Lead TBS transformation in business processes
Support Strategy Deployment process including roll-out and monitoring of A3 project plans.
Continuously develop TBS processes/effectiveness (training material, procedures etc.)
Prioritize and drive improvement activity
Project manages key deliverables and business objectives.
Participate in developing TBS roadmap and thereafter lead specific activities
Conduct TIP/KAIZEN/3P events for business processes & deliver report-out communications
Owner of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) \u2013 Identifying current state, future state, and roadmap progression
Collaborates with counterparts across segments and Global TBS Promotion Office to raise issues, build solutions, create a consistent approach and share best practices
Ensures adherence to business unit roadmap for transformation
Works with Segment Business Leadership to ensure alignment
Coordinate with Functional Business Unit Leaders \u2013 help identify Lean markers, metrics, and foundational shortfalls.
Get buy-in For a Common TBS direction with all corporate functional leaders, business segment leaders and model business unit leaders
Cross-segment project management and reporting.
Establish and support resource planning, including budget
Agree upon and identify training needs (collaborate with TBS instructional designer to develop appropriate materials)
Leadership Standard Work \u2013 Create, follow and promote
Act as communication focal point for functional leaders and business leaders
Coach, teach, and mentor TBS principles for the function

General Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of related experience.

Well-rounded business knowledge and experience
Communication / presentation skills
Familiar with: waste identification, 5S, JIT, Jidoka, Std Work, Pull / Kanban, TPM, Flow identification, value stream mapping, process mapping
Problem solving skills / techniques
Organizational skills, ability to work across organization levels
Ability to drive results
Experience of implementing Lean techniques
People management experience
Change management experience
Experience of implementing continuous improvement
Experience in Cross Function Team Management
