The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the continuous improvement vision and projects to drive significant improvement in EH&S, quality, customer service and operations cost throughout Americas Logistics & Distribution network. A strong background in Lean, Six Sigma and Supply chain engineering is required.  Acts as an advisor to OPEX initiatives across L&D departments and participate in cross-functional projects. Provides coaching and training to leadership team on effective use of technology, manpower and materials to achieve the lowest overall cost. A Change Agent responsible for leading L&D Americas into a data driven, team oriented culture that embraces continuous improvement and designs key performance metrics for all processes.

Main Responsibilities

•       The position is responsible to manage all supply chain engineering, EH&S and other continuous improvement projects throughout the Americas network.

•       Lead supply chain network studies to optimize and simplify physical flows of inbound and outbound products to the market and manage complex supply chain integration programs to open and consolidate distribution centers in the network.

•       Responsible for leading project engineers and business analysts in driving process engineering enhancements touching safety, quality and productivity.

•       Collaborate with IT organization in designing complex supply chain IT systems, processes and information flows to drive operational efficiencies.

•       Proactively analyze EH&S, quality, performance data, perform research on latest optimization techniques and supply chain technologies and drive projects to move L&D metrics to a best in class model

•       Facilitate project replication, sharing of best practices and documentation of SOPs across L&D.

•       Coach operations managers to establish performance measurement systems and goals aligned organizational objectives.

•       Clearly communicate business strategic goals to various levels of leadership in supply chain and drive programs on how they can contribute to the organization's success.

•       Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects and programs.

•       Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects and assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.

 ','!*!Technical Skills Required:

•       Lean Six Sigma methodology, Statistical Quality control, Advanced statistical analysis methodologies (ANOVA, Regression and Design of Experiments)

•       Experience with SQL, Reporting tools, Minitab, MS Project

•       Discrete event simulation modeling and Supply Chain network design

•       Distribution facility design, Slotting & Industrial engineering skills

•       Business case development & Financial modelling

•       Multisite Project Management and Continuous Improvement

•       Deep knowledge of tier one ERP’s, WMS and TMS is a plus.

Additional Qualification:

•       Ability to work across as well as upwards in the organization to establish strong working relationships and gain consensus for programs

•       Ability to work across functions in the organization to champion change. Comfortable to a level of ambiguity and willingness to make decisions based on the information at hand

•       Ability to influence stakeholders and gain consensus and support as well as manage complex change across the organization. Ability to manage multiple distribution center project teams.

•       Strong Industrial/ Supply chain engineering background with exposure to supply chain practices and drive change.

•       Strong financial and business acumen

•       Written and Verbal Communication

•       Proven ability to speak and work across all levels of business

•       Strong analytical and problem solving skills
