Role Summary:

GE is hiring within its digital marketing team to drive increased productivity, efficiency, and ultimately deliver revenue for sales. This digital-savvy, customer-centric team is focused on partnering with sales to help drive both revenue growth and customer retention via compelling digital content and campaigns, engaging digital tools, and establishing new online customer relationships. This is a pivotal time to join this dynamic team that is creating meaningful change across the company.

Essential Responsibilities:

The content marketing specialist will craft and implement effective content marketing strategies to drive and engage qualified traffic, nurture leads and grow sales.

Focus areas and responsibilities:

Content marketing strategy and project management — collaborate across the digital marketing team to develop and manage content roadmap that covers all marketing channels, ensuring flawless execution of various marketing campaigns

Project manage vendors such as writers, graphic designers, and video producers.

Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives

Content Development — build content for websites, paid media partnerships, email campaigns, personalization initiatives, and as needed for other marketing channels

Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and customers

Plan content for campaigns based on customer buying journey; i.e. determine types of content that will increase content and engagement and lead a prospect from awareness to selection.

SEO—Help to increase organic search rankings of GE’s energy businesses via the development of SEO-friendly content

Content analytics

Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how we can turn our inbound prospects into customers, continually refining our process to engage, convert, and retain customers

Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels

Own content testing Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with marketing, media, consulting, and/or companies

BA/BS degreeEligibility Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Desired Characteristics:

High personal/editorial standards

Experience identifying relevant trends and moving fast to integrate them

Experience in managing multiple, projects simultaneously

Editorial experience, especially in a decision-making capacity

Copywriting and editing experience

Excellent writing and editing skills that can be applied to white papers or case studies, e-books, guides, webinars, infographics, short form blog entries, “How To” videos, etc.

Innate understanding of Brand Voice and channels in all content creation

Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers

Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.with track record of problem solving and content development

Experience with digital media platforms, advertising metrics, and industry trends (brand advertising, direct response marketing, data and technology solutions, ad-tech, etc.)

Experience with Excel, and analyzing datasets and delivering insights

Experience with problem-solving and decision-making

Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions

Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making

Experience developing digital content from a strategic and perspective#DTR Locations:
