Responsible for invoicing, distributing reports, and maintaining computer hardware. Additional responsibilities includes assisting personnel from other departments regarding the computer system and billing functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Compiles data for providing customer invoices.
Reviews and resolves errors on invoice exception report. Submits above/below profit parameter to manager for approval.
Reviews all completed work orders for accuracy.
Separates and sorts work orders by Customer Service Representative and reviews for accuracy and unit of measure errors prior to picking.
Sorts, separates and distributes daily, weekly, and monthly OMNI reports.
Faxes purchase orders and matches purchase orders with confirmation.
Enters billing information into computer system.
Maintains related files
May operate and maintain Bar Code Printing System.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains office supplies.
Maintains and inventories computer supplies.
May act as Receptionist.
Performs additional duties as directed.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. TYPE OF PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
Picking, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers primarily (rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling).
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Talking is important for those activities in which workers must impart oral information to clients or to the public, and in those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Perceiving the nature of sounds. Hearing is important for those activities which require ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on running engines.
EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:
Knowledge of stenography, elementary accounting, or a variety of office, laboratory, or test procedures. Operation of office equipment such as personal computers to perform word processing or simple spread sheets. Equal to a high school diploma plus additional specialized training.
B. WORK EXPERIENCE:
Up to three months.
