The Operations team is primarily responsible for the development and on-going support of enterprise-wide compensation processes, programs and technologies. In addition, the Operations team leads compensation initiatives that support business objectives. This role will also support the Compensation consulting team in their mission to deliver strategic consulting to the business segments across the enterprise. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Independently leads moderately complex to complex compensation and business specific projectsImplements business compensation strategies, policies, programs, and communications within the corporate compensation philosophy frameworkImplements and maintains of state-of-the-art enterprise compensation programs and productsProvides analysis and support on corporate and business segment compensation projects and initiativesSupports enterprise-wide development and maintenance of Compensation and Recognition tools and processesPartners with various stakeholders to work on cross-functional initiatives, change management and implementation effortsServes as a mentor and/or resource to other team members Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field3 or more years of related professional experienceDemonstrated experience leading moderately complex to complex initiativesData analysis experience; ability to use data to drive decisions Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in Compensation or Human CapitalWorking knowledge of PeopleSoft or comparable HRIS systemDemonstrated project management skills Careers at UnitedHealth Group.
