12 News/KPNX - Team 12 is seeking an innovative, motivated and creative individual to serve as a community ambassador and representative in the role of Community Relations Manager. This is a high profile, full-time role that will serve as a primary public contact for 12 News.\\rThe successful candidate will work across all 12 News departments to elevate our community brand and connections.  The Community Relations Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for maintaining, cultivating and activating successful and impactful community partnerships. \\rWe are looking for an experienced community advocate who is passionate about serving the greater good.\\rThe Community Relations Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities including: on-site community activation at events, fulfillment of community contracts through sales and marketing deliverables, writing and producing content for 12 News, writing articles for 12news.com, assisting in social media for community events and projects, writing contracts and scripts, giving tours and must have outstanding public speaking skills.\\rThe Community Relations Manager will serve as the heartbeat of Team 12 and work to advance our presence and impact in Arizona. The ability to work across departments, including sales, news and technology is critical.  The Community Relations Manger will work with the General Manager and Director of Marketing to strategically plan and supervise marquee station events and projects and help fulfill our strategic plan.\\rQualified applicants should have a clear understanding of local television news, productions needs/services, sales and client presentations and overall broadcast television. Experience in managing large special projects on deadline is a plus. Knowledge of Arizona, non-profit organizations and seasonal community events is helpful.\\rThe Community Relations Manager must be able to represent 12 News, NBC and TEGNA through a variety of content channels, community outreach efforts and client interactions.\\rWe put a premium on personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic and commitment to our brand and products. Candidate must be willing to work a variety of shifts: weekends, overnights, holidays and early mornings included.
