Job Description

Collaboration Support Analyst

This individual administers and supports electronic messaging and collaboration technology and processes within Sealed Air, and between Sealed Air and it’s external partners. The role is one of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for collaboration technology, primarily in a system administration and technical support capacity, but also with responsibilities for employee education of collaboration technology, processes and best practices. The Collaboration Support Analyst is an individual contributor role, working as a member of a global IT team with responsibilities for resolving IT incidents that are reported to and unresolvable by the Service Desk, and performing a team member role on related technology projects. As such, the role is operational and customer service focused. There is an expectation that the individual works collaboratively with globally dispersed IT teams, and at times this means working with resources outside of the individual’s timezone.

Responsibilities:

●      Administer and provide technical and employee support for business critical collaboration applications such as Microsoft Office 365, WebEx and ancillary services, such as cloud security and other 3rd party collaboration Apps

●      Strict adherence to IT data & security policies and system administrator practices

●      Assist in the deployment of Microsoft Office 365, including design, configuration, testing, data migration, system administration and user education and support activities

●      Take ownership of IT incidents associated with the collaboration technology domain. Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve issues, via remote connection to employee’s devices where necessary

●      Educate employees about the use of collaboration technology and associated best practices

●      Escalate and manage support Incidents with vendors where applicable

●      Identify opportunities to improve employee support documentation & resources, with the aim of reducing the volume of repeat Incidents that have a known resolution

●      Identify opportunities to educate the Service Desk and 2nd level support teams about collaboration technology so that support levels 1 & 2 can execute first touch resolution in future

●      Represent the IT Collaboration team on IT or business projects that involve electronic messaging and/or collaboration technology related data migration, including projects related to mergers and acquisitions. Escalate concerns or issues to the Director, IT Collaboration in a timely manner

●      Keep abreast of and leverage industry collaboration system standards, benchmarking, vendor strategies, peer forums and webinars

●      Be an advocate of tools & technologies that facilitate employee collaboration and that with external parties

●      Act as a change agent in the domain of collaboration, assisting employees with behavioural changes related to more collaborative ways of working

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience:

●      College degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of related experience and education

●      Must have worked day to day with a broad combination of Office 365 ProPlus (Office 2016), SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Yammer and Delve within a large organisation in the last 12 months

●      Mandatory 2 years of Microsoft Office 365 deployment and system administration experience within the last 3 years for at least E3 Enterprise licensing plus Advanced Threat Protection and Advanced Compliance, ideally within a global manufacturing environment

●      Mandatory experience of system to system migrations within the last 3 years, ideally Google Apps to Office 365

●      Proficient in Remedy, or similar, with experience of Incident, Change and Problem management processes

●      Knowledge of general Email routing and connections to the Internet

●      Customer service excellence, shaped around enhancing the employee’s experience of working with collaboration tools

●      Able to troubleshoot & persevere

●      Knowledge of security concepts & practices

●      Able to efficiently handle interruptions

●      Is collaborative, contributes within the team, and has the ability to turn questions and problems into opportunities for durable solutions

●      Able to work globally, demonstrating cultural awareness & sensitivity

●      Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment

●      Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice, and travel globally on occasion

●      Excellent English oral and written communication skills, and ideally another European or Latin American language at least to a basic level

●      Additional nice to have but not required is the ability to manage, maintain and optimise legacy infrastructure environments related to electronic messaging and collaboration technology e.g. Domino (client and server) and SMTP
