CitiRisk AI is the cornerstone of CCB’s strategic imperative to achieve a 100% digital commercial bank and completely digitize our end-to-end process across our markets.

The Cognitive Automation team will be focused in bringing AI/ML capabilities to existing Commercial Bank initiatives with a focus on industrializing emerging automation technologies and the use of robotics. The team will be responsible for partnering with partner functions in CCB Business, Risk, FRI and Technology to:

Ensure all the elements are in place for the rapid deployment of AI and other related technologies, including infrastructure, vendor agreements, training and a standardized playbook

Research emerging technologies and ensure best practice transfers across businesses and functions

Support businesses and functions in identification of opportunities and help drive the execution of complex projects, where needed

Provide visibility and governance for Senior Management over the cognitive automation programs

The CCB Cognitive Automation business manager will be essentially a leader who can translate/ bridge the disciplines of data, machine learning and decision making by reframing use cases from generalist, determining if they are actionable and working with Technology and ‘Quants’ to deliver against prioritized use cases



Provide leadership and oversight to all CitiRisk AI capabilities to new markets and functions

Partner with Businesses and Global Functions to identify opportunities to apply AI and build a book of work in line with business priorities.

Optimize and refine the playbook for each emerging technology to ensure the fastest delivery possible (from use-case identification through to full implementation)

Own knowledge sharing library for best practices in digital implementation of AI capabilities

Provide oversight in updating of process and procedures for the different CCB business functional teams as part of AI transformation.

Have oversight on local reporting, compliance and reporting adherence with AI implementations.

Partner with technology experts in buildout of below initial frameworks using ML/ BigData technology:

Contract Review (Analysing and extracting data from legal documents)

Reconciliation between Contract and Invoice

Competitive pricing Intelligence

Know your customer [KYC framework]

Web scraping engine

Unstructured Information Extraction

Support the design and build-out of ‘Robotic workforce management tools’ to ensure visibility and control of Robot performance

Responsible for leveraging CCB digital lab for execution and support of AI programs

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, policies, processes and procedures in cognitive automation in CCB

Communicate system issues with technology team and ensure speedy resolution of issues reported in lab and UAT

Executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.

Analyze process proposals to include identifying potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches for new implementations.

Evaluate employee performance, provide performance feedback

Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures with the Technology




Ability to lead digital transformation in a traditional Business Process.

Apply Lean management in Digital initiatives and deliver solutions in an agile manner

Ability to ascertain which technologies are best suited to different use-cases and to translate those into business cases with a clear ROI

Ability to drive ML based process efficiency and client experience optimization

Must be familiar with SaaS and PaaS vetting process. Expertise in AI consulting and product design is preferred

Ability  to design and execute on AI driven solutions,- including solving for unstructured document processing, natural language integration and machine learning approaches within enterprise systems

Ability to effectively manage Ontology development and robotic process automation. Prior familiarity with programs involving Chatbots, Machine Learning, API.AI, IBM Watson is preferred

Demonstrated track record of coordinating and implementing large scale initiatives involving geographically and functionally diverse stakeholders

Ability to understand and improve local processes and standardize them according to a  common operating model

Ability to synthesize complex projects into clear and relevant communications to end-users

Ability to multitask and work independently with a large volume of work

Ability to translate concepts and ideas into business requirements,

Ability to communicate with senior management and present team performance for management review

Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively take on leadership roles in various areas.

Six Sigma certification is desirable

Desirable to have familiarity with procedures as per Commercial Bank common operating model

MUST have experience in designing of semantic statement extraction as well as data aggregation engine as an intelligent automation function and eliminate manual processing

MUST have experience in strategic planning, execution and project management. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

MUST have prior experience of implementing global digital systems & initiatives

MUST have experience in managing large team, guide new employees to learn business process and motive them to achieve business goals

Experience in reviewing complex Business  and Functional Requirement Documents

MUST be familiar with Agile methodology and SDLC test strategy
