Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic Cloud Technology Account Manager to help our customer’s transition to the cloud.   This would be an extraordinary opportunity to be part of an emerging technologies team.

Responsibilities Include:

Work one-on-one with our top-tier customers, supporting both the software development lifecycle for cloud services and management of active services. 

Help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of cloud services within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.

Possess customer facing skills that enable you to represent Cloud well within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding incidents, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management.

Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges as you help our customers take advantage of the efficiencies, cost savings and quick innovation available only in the cloud

Document best practices with white papers and presentations.

Engage with Director and C-Level executives to understand business needs. 

Assist in Design/Architecture of cloud solutions .

Make recommendations on how new Cloud offerings fit in the company architecture.

Primary technical point of contact for one or more customers helping to plan, debug, and oversee ongoing operations of business critical applications.

Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

Job Requirements

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.

5 years design/implementation/operations/consulting experience of distributed applications.

2 years hands-on systems administration / networking / troubleshooting.

Creative problem solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Self-motivated and highly ambitious.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals.

Strong customer facing and relationship building skills, ideally as a team lead.

Experience working with Enterprise customers.

Strong communication skills with internal and external organizations.

Ability and willingness to travel to for project and customer meetings up to 25-50%. 

Technical Requirements & Certifications:

AWS\Azure experience with designing, implementing, and supporting production cloud environments.

Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages.

Experience with OpenStack as an operator or developer.

Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript & Python.

Experience with deployments using cloud providers such as AWS & MS Azure.

Experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS\Azure APIs, Azure Powershell. 

Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, or other databases.

Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt.

AWS, MS AZure, OpenStack highly desired.

Any other cloud specific certifications a plus.
