Praxair Distribution, Inc., a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., a Fortune 300 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for growth of sales revenues of specific medical devices (heavy emphasis on growing share of the medical devices within the Region). This position will have a base salary with eligibility for quarterly bonus upon completion of first full quarter of employment.   This individual contributor is accountable for maintaining and expanding, profitable hospital accounts in a geographic area. Employees in this position exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing the sales process. Develops, maintains, coordinates and leverages relationships for hospital accounts that result in business opportunities and improved profitability. Clinical Sales Specialist
Plans and implements sales for specific medical devices and develops new customers where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and account management skills are critical Monitors competitive activity and ensures appropriate response strategy Develops sales plans for assigned hospital accounts to meet both Praxair business objectives and customer satisfaction objectives. Maintains and increases existing revenue stream Increases revenue in each major account by leveraging customer relationship and developing internal referrals Understands customer requirements and provides solutions in a consolatory manner while meeting needs and growing sales Manages account base to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Understands the needs of the medical device market / medical device industry segment and/or geographic area and works to ensure that Praxair acquires a significant portion of the business growth in the segment or area Monitors competitive activity and maintain competitive intelligence databases for the medical device market / medical device industry segment and/or geographic area Single point of resolution for customers needs for the assigned medical device market / medical device industry segment and/or geographic area accounts. Assesses an issue from many different perspectives and arrives at a decision that is in the best overall interest of Praxair

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree or higher required Clinical sales experience in respiratory, pediatric and/or labor & delivery markets preferred 5 Years sales experience required Strong communication skills, verbal and written.  Group presentation experience preferred. 50% travel required No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
