Cigna’s Talent team is recruiting for a Lead to manage

Operations Class Hiring (high volume recruitment).


The Lead will report to the Operations Recruitment Lead, and

will play a pivotal role within a high-performing Talent team focused on

delivering quality front line hires.  This position will be responsible

for leadership of full life-cycle recruiting for the class hiring space.




all processes, best practices, and operations of high volume class hiring

recruitment team, which currently manages approximately 2,000 hires per year.Lead

a team of Recruiters and contractors, providing situational coaching and

leadership; managing all aspects of performance management to ensure individual

and team goals align with broader HR and Cigna strategies and objectives; and

ensuring healthy balance of local differentiation and adherence to standard

process and policy.Partner

with and manage 3rd party vendor to ensure contractor coverage

for staff augmentationCollaborate

closely with HR partners and hiring managers aligned to Operations,  plan

and execute appropriate recruitment strategies and action plans to secure top

talent, reduce turnover and meet strategic workforce planning needs.Consult

with leaders to establish relationships and create mutually beneficial

partnerships, gathering information from them and their HR partners to react

appropriately to staff current openings and proactively plan for future talent

needs, with a heavy focus on forecasting and workforce planning.Partner

with appropriate contacts, and conduct ongoing research to understand

geographic market and industry forces, translating qualitative and quantitative

data into actionable candidate identification strategies that build slates of

diverse potential candidates in our various markets. Partner with colleagues in

real estate to ensure shared wins related to talent and our geographic


evaluate overall service delivery portfolio to ensure a robust sourcing

strategy; a positive and ever-improving customer-centric candidate and

stakeholder experience; an assessment and selection process aligned with the

needs of the role, the business and our culture; and a transition to an

onboarding program that enables the effective assimilation of new hires.Provide

advice and counsel to business about legal requirements, recruitment policies,

processes, and best practices associated with hiring top talent.Educate

leaders on interviewing, the role of competencies in achieving success, and the

use of competency–based questions in interviewing and assessing candidates.

Gain agreement on attraction, screening, and selection processes and the

approach for presenting positive, balanced, and accurate attributes of the

position, the department, and the business to provide candidates with a

rewarding interview and candidate experience.Provide

direct recruitment support as appropriate, owning the search process from

hiring the firm through offer close.Partner

with the Early Career Professional team to leverage our enterprise strategy and

develop local and functional outreach to connect with early career talent


consistency in how we market and position Cigna, working to evolve our online

and visual standards for advertisement and communications in support of

establishing the company as a premiere employerIn conjunction with

the Recruiting Manager, responsible for consolidating annual business hiring

forecast, in addition to developing and maintaining, monthly and quarterly

talent scorecards, as well as weekly reporting  to Senior Leaders.In conjunction with the Recruiting Manager, ongoing

insights and analysis to the business– reviewing and trending market and hiring

actuals; analyzing historical data and applying decision making skills to

generate the most appropriate talent strategy.In conjunction with the Recruiting Manager, participate in

bi-weekly partnership meetings with, Strategic Workforce Planning, Knowledge

Network, HR & Corporate Real Estate to review hiring plans, supply

& demand challenges and solution to deliver best in class hiring results

in alignment with the business strategy.In

conjunction with the Recruiting Manager, share responsibility for consolidating

annual business hiring forecast, in addition to developing and maintaining,

monthly and quarterly talent scorecards, as well as weekly reporting to

Senior Leaders.In

conjunction with the Recruiting Manager, participate in creation of ongoing

insights and analysis to the business– reviewing and trending market and hiring

actuals; analyzing historical data and applying decision making skills to

degree or equivalent experienceMinimum

of 10 years of experience in a complex Talent/Recruiting

function; experience in professional operations or Class Hiring a plusSuccessful

formal and/or informal leadership experience, and ability to positively

influence and inspire a geographically decentralized teamTrack

record of flawless execution and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast

policies, with time spent developing these for aggressive growth businesses preferred.Excellent

project management and planning skills required, with prior experience leading

change management projects or activities for talent acquisition preferred.Proven

skills and experience in full-cycle Talent Acquisition managing a high-volume

of requisitions, preferably across multiple functions and/or position types.

Experience and skill in quickly understanding a client’s needs and delivering

results accordingly.Cross-cultural

sensitivity and an ability to execute the talent strategy in a manner that

demonstrates our commitment to customer-centricity in the marketplace.Exceptional

verbal and written communication skills with related platform experience and

the ability to present to a wide-range of audiences.Strong

relationship management skills with the confidence, energy and poise to work

with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency

in current recruiting and HR-related technologies with an understanding of

emerging solutions that may be leveraged to reach desired outcomes.Strong

HR analytics capability with a demonstrated understanding of how People data

translates to influencing business decisions. Experience manipulating large

sets of data for reporting purposes using Excel, SPSS, SAAS etc. preferred.
