Research and analyze supply and demand based on market conditions. Liaise with Legal to negotiate terms of contracts with suppliers. Evaluate and measure vendor performance to ensure performance meets expectations, including lead time and contract commitment. Maintain vendor relations and visit vendor sites, as appropriate. Assist sourcing team with supplier selection, price negotiation, and bid evaluation processes. Provide on-going support for supplier relationship building and on-boarding. Support cyclical and ad-hoc supplier business reviews. Build relationships and effectively partner across varied functions with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, agencies, and colleagues to influence change. Identify and recommend category sourcing strategies. Contribute to achievement of defined category performance targets and assist in driving performance of associated vendors. Leverage industry associations, peers, and stakeholders to identify best practices for project area. Support the development, evaluation, and presentation of business case and cost/benefit analysis to stakeholders on sourcing process, spend management, and benefits. Participate in negotiation strategy development and competitive negotiation process including execution of NDAs, SOWs, and MSAs. Participate in or lead competitive RFXs. Provide input and support for continuous improvement programs within the department. Requirements: Masterandrsquo;s Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and three years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Experience may be gained after, prior to, or concurrently with Masterandrsquo;s degree. In lieu of a Masterandrsquo;s degree and three years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelorandrsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Experience and/or education must include: 1. 3 years of experience with strategic sourcing including multiple simultaneous sourcing events or transactions;2. 3 years of experience with software licensing models including perpetual, subscription, SaaS, and revenue-based;3. 3 years of experience with preparing and delivering transaction presentations to senior leadership;4. 3 years of experience planning and leading negotiations;5. 2 years of experience performing cost/benefit analysis; 6. 3 years of experience with execution of NDAs, SOWs, and MSAs; and7. 3 years of experience participating in or leading competitive RFXs involving at least 3 prospective vendors.Please reference job #XXXX and send resume to: The Gap Inc., D.
