ContextWithin the Spain and Portugal Cluster, a team ofArchitects and Product Specialist exists to undertake Oracle SaaS Business forprospective and existing customers.  Thesame team also works on the development of ‘go to market solutions' for theIberia market place. These are senior roles to act as the link between Oraclesales and delivery teams in the Consulting organisation. The CX Architect ensures solution feasibility andmitigates risk by leveraging a network of subject matter experts in the CXapplication. The Application Architect is also capable of proposing customerroadmaps to realise the proposed solution. Currently a need exists for an experienced ApplicationArchitect with a focus on Customer Experience based on Oracle applicationssolutions on Cloud. This includes products from Fusion CRM/CX, RightNow, Siebeland the complete solution portfolio of Oracle CX products: Marketing, Sales, Service, CPQ, Commerce, CustomerData Management, Sales Performance Management.Scope of the roleThe CX Architect:Reports to the Iberia SaaS/Arch DirectorTakes a leadership position within Oracle andwith the customer for the CX solutionWorks on client-billable and pre-salesassignments to lead the solution developmentWorks with sales and delivery to ensuresolutions are both sellable and deliverable We are looking for architects capable of leadingcompelling solution development with clients to “Inspire, Connect andPerform”.ResponsibilitiesTo act as a trusted advisor to senior clients in the Iberia Cluster: To develop compelling, profitable and deliverable customer solutions with Oracle and customers To be commercially astute when engaging and advising a client To act as ambassadors for Oracle application solutions throughout a customer engagement Work closely with client, sales, pre-sales and delivery staff to develop a robust architecture Take full ownership of “best practice” of their competency area, covering the whole strategic footprint Develop strong relationships with the product lines and in co-operation with the Delivery Management teams, advise on competency requirements Take full accountability for the architectural solution of a pre-sales opportunity or project Establish strong relationships with their counterparts in Oracle partners Form and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in product development Manage the re-use and knowledge management of their competency area Provide sales awareness to the sales and delivery community within the Iberia ClusterEngage profitably with their counterparts from otherparts of EMEAKnowledge and Competency RequirementsEducationDegree educated or equivalentFluent Spanish and EnglishExperience/Technical/Professional knowledge Currently Principal Consultant level or above Strong functional expertise and architectural skills for CX applications. Focus on Sales and/or Service domains. A creative and agile problem-solver Work on x-teams with Product and Industry Specialist, Sales, Technology Architects and C-Level management to give value to customer through our SaaS & PaaS4SaaS stack. Knowledge and ambassador of our CX SaaS applications Recent project life-cycle experience, preferably  with Project Management experience Ability to advise customer on their implementation approach Commercially astute Ability to form lasting high-level relationships both inside and outside a project assignment Self-starting Politically savvy in complex situations both within the client and Oracle Excellent knowledge of Oracle architectural methods, product standards and architectural roadmaps, including EADF, OUM, AIM, CDM, others. Deep, proven architecture experience of their competence area Strong awareness of building solutions involving other application competence areas Has an existing network of contacts both in and outside Oracle with the proven ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues in sales and delivery situations Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior management within a client Demonstrated ability to develop successful architectures on projects with complex business requirements Track record of success and credibility at all levels Strong customer service client relationship skills Ability to present an argument: persuasiveExcellent communication skills, both written andoral with strong presentation abilityLocation: Barcelona or Madrid
