Role Description

Our Channel Marketing Managers are data-driven decision makers that own the marketing portfolio health, innovation, and strategy. They draw insights from competitive research, trending data, and multivariate testing with the goal of growing and optimizing the email and mobile channels. You will work alongside multiple product managers, vertical merchandisers, data scientists and analytics to grow the channel portfolio and value across the globe, affecting 150 million users.

You will be responsible for growing a multi-billion dollar channel contributing in a significant way to eBays overall growth. This opportunity will give you visibility to Senior eBay leadership across the globe. You will have the opportunity to help be part of the future of eBay.

We are looking for a strong candidate with experience in driving multi-channel strategies end to end in a diverse global and evolving industry. This is a unique opportunity to own a fast-growing channel and make a difference in our customers lives.

You will be a senior member of a high performing channel team that is composed of world class channel operators that drive growth by influencing regional utilization and understanding the channel holistically.

Responsibilities;

Thought leader on CRM channel strategy

Customer obsessed, always putting the customer at the center of your decisions.

Lead and motivate a team of high performing, data driven channel operators

Own and execute for results

Partner with various global stakeholders including regions, product, analytics, agencies and operations to influence and drive growth.

Push the CRM organization to evolve the channels and be world-class.

Deep understanding of channel performance, monitoring daily to understand insights and drive through to action.

Skills Required:

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing channel marketing strategies.

eCommerce, multi-offering marketing and customer research experience strongly preferred.

Carried out direct marketing campaigns or has applied principles; has deep understanding of online consumer behavior.

Experience with segmentation strategies, test design, and campaign management systems.

Proven success in going deep in analytics for strong measurement and development of insights with clear next steps.

A skilled relationship-builder with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels, ensuring stakeholders implement plans and deliver results

Has shown accuracy, a thorough attention to detail and efficient time management skills.

Experience with balancing numerous competing priorities and demands.

Strong analytical thinking, written, verbal and presentation skills.
