For hundreds of millions of consumers, Newell Brands makes life better every day, where they live, learn, work and play. Based in Bristol, for our iconic HOME FRAGRANCES division we are currently looking for a  CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER - HOME FRANGRANCES The Manager Channel Marketing will work closely with the Senior Manager Channel Marketing to commercialize sales and marketing programs across all Channels of distribution, identifying and executing Channel-specific business growth opportunities. Scope of responsibilities include the integration of the Channel profile into trade marketing strategies/sales plans and establishment of Channel priorities across Customers and sales teams. In order to accomplish this, the Manager Channel Marketing will work cross functionally to deliver sales and profits through commercialization of Brand/Trade strategies and plans across the Customers/Channel focusing on a 9 month rolling plan. This position works closely with sales teams to optimize Joint Business Planning (JBP's) and Line Reviews on behalf of Newell Brands.  Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Channel Strategy • Identifies Channel priorities across Customers and sales teams • Provides input to Channel/Regional strategy for specific Channels/Customers • Develops Channel profile using competitive and marketplace intelligence Annual Planning • Contributes Channel perspective to the growth opportunity funnel to enhance annual sales plans • Organizes Growth Planning Summit (GPS) & Lock the Plan (LTP) activities Business Plan Execution (Channel & Customer) • Delivers trade commercialization plans by Customer/Channel in alignment with strategy • Ensures accurate and optimal deployment of plans • Coaches sales teams on Channel best practices JPB's, Line Reviews • Partners with Customer Development to execute Joint Business Planning (JBP's) and Line Reviews as needed • Represents Channel business data (market, shopper, and end-user) to internal and external stakeholders Intelligence • Oversees and maintains Customer/Channel intelligence (orders, ships, POS, IRI, and customer inventory) taking correcting action as needed • Represents and reports on Channel business data (market, shopper, and end-user) to sales teams to enable performance Pricing and Trade Fund Guidance • Provides Channel and Regional perspective on pricing • Monitors Channel and Regional promotion and pricing activity to ensure alignment • Coaches on pricing actions as needed   #LI-DG1Qualifications• Bachelor's degree (emphasis in business/marketing or related field), • 5-7 years of experience working with a leading CPG company (Channel Management, Brand Management, Marketing, Sales or related position) • Demonstrated knowledge of brand management and marketing philosophies, tools and processes and proven record of success. Category Management Association certification a plus • Demonstrated success in leading Category Management (Category Captain) engagements with a major retailer • Strategic thinking, self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines • Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, measures and software (e.g. NPD, Nielsen/Nitro, IRI, Consumer Panel, Spectra, ECRM or Market Track, XP3, etc.) • Familiarity with space management principles and software (e.g. JDA, Prospace, Spaceman, etc.) • Multi-channel experience and shopper understanding. • Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time.  Are you interested?
