(Please note that this is a non-management position only requiring 3 years of experience)The CAPA Specialist will work under the direction of the Quality Systems Manager to develop, implement, manage and continually improve Quality Management Systems(QMS).  The candidate will be trained in the CAPA process which includes understanding of the problem, completion of aroot cause analysis (RCA) process, implementation of the corrective action to mitigate the problem and determination of the effectiveness of the corrective action.   The CAPA Specialist will also manage the administrative functions in the day to day management of the CAPA system which includes the following: *  Utilize the CAPA process for branches throughout the nation *  Documents all OOS incidents in the CAPA system to allow for tracking and trending of OOS incidents. *  Initiates a CAPA investigation, assigns CAPA ID numbers, monitors CAPA timelines and ensures all CAPAs are closed in a timely manner. *  Creates and analyzes CAPA metrics using simple excel charts and graphs to identify trends in CAPA data. *  Follow up with facilities to ensure CAPA process is being followed and all CAPAs are closed. *  Assists with CAPA effectiveness monitoring to ensure corrective actions were appropriate and effective. *  Participates in quality projects to implement improvements to processes, facilities and equipment.   Assists with audits. *  Act as a liaison between Coram Corporate Quality Management and Pharmacy compounding facilities to ensure good documentation of OOS investigations.
