Junior .NET Developer Program

GEICO - proven online, mobile, and industry leader - seeks college graduates to join our growing team of over 2,000 IT experts in our newly expanded, Indianapolis, IN location. As a top employer of tech pros, we're utilizing emerging technologies to drive results, enhance our customers' online web and mobile experiences, and impact bottom line results.

This extensive.NET training program will provide you with the skills and experience necessary to be a successful software developer. Once completed, you will have the skills required to be a proficient software developer at GEICO. The program will combine classroom and real-work experience so new skills can be applied immediately. Participants will be assigned mentors and receive supplemental training depending on their project assignments. During the program you will work alongside Senior Software Engineers who serve as mentors, guiding you through full stack development [.NET, responsive web design, databases, cloud and API]. Upon successful completion of the program, associates will have programming knowledge and proficiency in .NET, multi-device websites, databases, cloud and API development, as well as a host of new technologies that our engineers are using every single day. You will also have mentorship and training through Meet Ups, and Tech Talks to help build skills on topics such Open Source Big Data tools, Security, Voice Driven Applications, Agile Development and more.

Program participants will have an exciting opportunity to be part of a cross functional team in our contemporary Center of Excellence, developing your own skills while contributing to enterprise level software applications.

The program consists of the following training courses:

* Introduction to Programming and Systems Development Concepts

* Introduction to Object Oriented Concepts

* Web Design

* Beginning Development in Microsoft's .NET Platform

* Agile Development Methodologies

* Introduction to Insurance
