The Application Developer will understand and translate business needs into system scope and coding objectives for full stack .NET and MS SQL applications in an agile development environment. They will devise or modify procedures to solve problems using Javascript, C#, .NET, SQL, SSIS, Visual Studio and Power Shell. In addition, this person prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written and designed, coded, tested, debugged and documents those programs. The Application Developer is competent to work on simple to fairly complex program analysis and programming assignments. Responsible for analysis of systems with a focus on technical internal specifications, coding testing and documentation. Helps to determine specifications: develops, assists, modifies and expands new and existing programs through analysis and programming.

PROGRAMMING: codes, prepares test data, tests and debugs programs at various complexity levels. Writes structured, well organized and documented, highly maintainable programs. Prepares test data, test scenarios and test plans that ensure programs are working correctly prior to release.
ANALYSIS / DESIGN: Analyzes the requirements for a program in conjunction with the Business Systems Analyst and defines its overall structure and implementation solution. Prepares both functional and technical specifications. Utilizes knowledge of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and follows PLC guidelines whenever necessary. Performs business analysis and translates into specifications and develops all levels of logic flow charts.
COLLABORATION: works with colleagues to define effective designs, procedures and tests, and to continually improve the overall quality of the groups output. Provides assistance to other staff members on functional and technical issues.
RESEARCH/KNOWLEDGE: Assists in software systems evaluation and setting departmental standards and procedures. Monitors changes in technology. Remains up-to-date on current industry trends through courses, reading, etc.
SUPPORT: Provides support to user groups and other developmental groups to resolve system problems.


Associates degree in Math or Computer Science OR an equivalent in education and experience required.
3-5 years of experience as a full stack developer with progressive programming and analysis experience.
Demonstrated experience building solutions using SQL, SSIS, Javascript, C#, .NET, Visual Studio and Microsoft PowerShell to deliver integrated solutions.

Requires proficiency in at least two higher-level development languages, the ability to design components and databases, and work in Agile, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery development environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET framework, including ASP.NET, MSMVC, WCF, DTS/SSIS jobs and scheduling
Languages: C#, Javascript, SQL, HTML5, knowledge of Java also helpful
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, application containers and microservices — Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogix, MS Enterprise Services, Jenkins.
Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
Knowledge of database design principles — Logical Data Modeling (LDM) Entity Relationship Modeling (ERM) Third Normal Form and A.C.I.D. properties
Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer
Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio
Strong focus on high quality code
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities
Capacity for building relationships both internally and externally
Ability to think independently and make decisions
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Collaborative approach to work
