For more information, please visit http://www.t-mobile.comBusiness Systems Analysts in Human Resources are responsible for developing comprehensive business and systems requirements documentation for technology projects implementing and enhancing new and existing HR applications. Business Systems Analysts understand how organizations accomplish their purpose, define the capabilities required to provide a service or meet goals, facilitate communication between organizational units to align business needs, create requirement work products for developers and solution providers, and ensure solutions are appropriately tested before moving into production. Successful Human Resources technology projects equip T-Mobile employees with resources, tools and support for personal growth and career success.3-5 years of business systems analysis experience with demonstrated understanding of strategic business information systems, to include at least 2 years with HR systems, specifically.Working understanding of best practices and principles of business systems analysis, with demonstrated ability to apply in projects. Experience with multiple system development lifecycle methods.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, unambiguous deliverables and to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.Experience identifying and resolving requirement impacting issues, partnering closely with Project Managers and business SME's/executives to develop and implement viable solutions.Demonstrated consulting skills and experience bridging the gap between technology and business operations to enable organizations to make effective decisions.High proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.PreferredExperience working in Agile development environments, to include writing User Stories.Experience with WorkDay, ADP, KeneXa or Kronos.Proficiency in MS SharePoint and/or MS Project.EducationBachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.License or CertificationBusiness Systems Analysis certification preferred, but not required.Requires competencies in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, talent management, results focus, and inspirational leadership.Essential FunctionsIdentifies stakeholders and facilitates working sessions to develop comprehensive work products documenting requirements, validation and traceability. Reconciles requirements conflicts and decomposes high-level capabilities into detailed requirements. Shares business knowledge and understanding among project team members and brokers consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs. Differentiates user requests and solution ideas from underlying true requirements.Compiles and evaluates information elicited from multiple, cross-functional sources to perform analysis of business problems to be solved or products/services to be developed. Assesses system impacts and performs gap, process and cost/benefit analyses for system or product/service related initiatives. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and processes that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Understands how policies and processes impact requests/projects.Plans and facilitates user acceptance testing, post-deployment business validation and warranty period issue tracking activities. Partners with Project Managers to acts as liaisons between operational HR resources and internal IT resources.Functions as an integral member of core project teams, providing Project Managers with analysis and testing plans and regular status on all assigned activities.
