POSITION SUMMARY:

Organizes and interprets sales-related information, collaborating with local and regional sales and account management team, to support internal and external customers. Researches, manipulates and prepares data to document competitive activities, create and manage sales-related scorecards and reports, and review results with leadership and team. Coordinates implementation and interpretation of internal sales information and serves as liaison between local and regional sales team and internal information support resources. Develops a consultative relationship with internal and external customers.

Fundamental Components:

Proactively identify process improvement opportunities in a high-growth market

Establish and maintain direct relationships with internal sales teams

Troubleshoot process breakdowns as they happen and identify root causes and potential solutions

Create and maintain ongoing reporting process for ongoing tracking and sales management, in conjunction with system owners (i.e., Salesforce, Tableau, Producer World, Highspot)

Improve efficiencies in current process and eliminate redundancies

Increase internal and external satisfaction

Specific Role Responsibilities

Work with local sales and sales support team on an ongoing basis to identify and manage priorities for reporting, process improvement and increased efficiencies

Serve as liaison to national AFA process resources to ensure local understanding of required processes and recommend improvements at both the local and national level

Develop and maintain quarterly GA reporting package and work with assigned AE for effective external delivery

Improve and maintain weekly Salesforce reporting package and dashboards

Interact with Data Sciences team for development and maintenance of ongoing sales reporting packages supporting various constituents (Market President, MHOS, Director of Sales and Service, Sales Support Manager, Director of Underwriting, sales reps)

Maintain comprehensive issues log, including details of assigned responsibilities, timing of issue and resolution and specific action plans

Independent Judgment and Discretion

Newly created role requiring initiative and organization of issues, problems and resolution

Fast-paced environment requiring independent-thinking and creativity to help change existing processes and/or solve for gaps in current approaches

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelors degree in business field, preferably Finance or data analytics, health care management a plus

2-3 years work experience a plus

Self-motivated and independent, entrepreneurial spirit

Self-confidence and persistence to achieve process improvement objectives in fast-paced environment with need for ongoing process improvement

Comfortable with ambiguity

Strong organizational skills, including written and verbally

Very strong project management/operational efficiency skills

EDUCATION:

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Microsoft Excel is desire
