Business Development Manager

The Marketing Business Development Manager position is responsible for generating and cultivating opportunities with Fortune 1000 prospects and closing enterprise relationships these companies. The position will be charged with the effective management of the sales process, deepening and strengthening relationships with key prospects, and assisting in the coordination or resources throughout the sales cycle and during transition to services delivery team(s).

Position Objectives

Provide a pipeline report and revenue forecast

Track all activities on company CRM,

Drive new business with prospective customers by differentiating PD’s services offering and positioning investment relative to expected ROI throughout the sales process

Active participant in development and implementation of the strategic plan and key strategic initiative

Prepare yearly review with select/key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and assess new opportunities

Primary Responsibilities

Help Precision Dialogue meet or exceed revenue goals by utilizing effective consultative sales approach

Contribute to the ongoing refinement of PD’s New Business Development strategy centered around specific vertical markets

Lead with our value proposition of analytics and technology driven solutions

Become knowledgeable with the breadth and depth of Precision Dialogue solutions. Gain a solid understanding of data mining and analytic approaches that underpin Precision Dialogue’s core client solutions, analytics, optimization, usability lab and more

Work with channel partners to close new business leads through the identification and cultivation of new client prospects

Additional Responsibilities

Fit the Precision Dialogue culture: honesty; hard work; team-focused; collegial

Gain “working knowledge” of technologies required to keep Precision Dialogue “leading-edge”

Travel as necessary

Reporting Relationship

Manager of New Business Development reports to Vice President, Marketing Strategy.

Required Skills

Experience selling to the “C” level marketing suite within Fortune 1000 companies

Experience as a CRM practioner or developing/delivering CRM strategies with a foundation in analytics

Working knowledge of databases, list management and core analytic procedures such as profiling and modeling

Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate the activity of marketing solutions and to deliver client expectations on time and on budget

Demonstrated ability to engender client loyalty

Ability to provide value added solutions based on client needs

Ability to uncover new opportunities by using a consultative selling approach

Undergraduate business degree required
