Role overview:

Provides deep industry, solution or product expertise to sales process- Support gross sales efforts for Middle Market. These roles are responsible for delivering the value of the whole firm to our customers by providing specialized consulting activities for pre-sales of replicable and scalable packaged solutions to customer business workflow challenges in order to gain new business, win market share and increase customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for engaging/assisting customers in the sales process. They help identify the right offerings that drive sales and increase customer retention. Sometimes provides post-sales support.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and assist qualifying prospect names for the Middle Market sales team

Assist with sales campaigns / trials

Data mining / prospect list acquisition

Power point presentations assistance

Assist with RFIs & RFPs

Compile sales reports to be used in sales meetings

Monitor on an ongoing basis and implement solutions for recurring issues that arise

Gather account history and market data as requested

Serve as an escalation point with order processing / customer admin

Develop customers’ relationships to address minor issues quickly, to develop greater familiarity with accounts

Support selling administrative activities such as marketing materials distribution and arranging client meetings

Support obtaining signed contracts, order forms from customers and trials management

Scope and Impact:

• May lead and be accountable for straight-forward projects and associated teams.

• Provides input to the objectives and goals of the department.

• Responsible for managing own time and responsibilities.

• Participates in complex projects that affect a Business Unit or regional area.

• May train or mentor colleagues.

Knowledge & Skill:

Mid-level professional with knowledge in the Financial Industry and or Risk space

1-3 years client facing experience retaining and or growing revenue within an existing client base or territory

Good understanding of roles of relevant functional groups such as sales and account management

Suggests process improvement following investigative, analytic or diagnostic services

Independent Worker: Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fast-paced environment

Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Advanced knowledge of CRM systems- specifically Salesforce.com

Advanced knowledge of pipeline management and sales dashboards

Advanced knowledge of Genesis Eikon License management

Bachelors Degree required.
