Summary:

Develops and maintains

business systems consisting of databases, forms, reports and macros to

facilitate call center and business processes that are not supported through

traditional IT infrastructure.  Defines

business requirements and translates those requirements into business systems

that support and facilitate existing and proposed new processes. Drives new

projects through the entire System Development Life Cycle, including

requirements, design, construction, testing and implementation.  The clients this role supports include

Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Vacation Planning Counselors and other

support positions of Wyndham’s timeshare clubs and their associated call center

operations

 

Responsibilities:

- Works with internal

business clients to define requirements and design solutions.

- Works with users, IT staff,

and other resources to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues

involving complex technological challenges

- Develops and maintains

databases, forms, reports and macros that support call center and business

processes, using the standard Systems Development Life Cycle methodology.

- Tests and implements new

systems and changes properly to ensure minimal issues and defects.

- Participates on IT projects

including (but not limited to) coding updates, security updates, and system compatibility

projects.

- Implements precautionary

measures and procedures to ensure security and integrity of applications and

data, including regular backups of electronic databases and files, compression

of database files, installation of upgrades and security patches associated

with technologies used for solutions, use of proper application and database

design to ensure information integrity, proper importing and exporting of data,

etc.','!*!Minimum Qualifications:

- 4 year degree in business,

computer science, or related degree or equivalent experience

- Experience writing computer

programs to solve business problems

- Visual Basic for

Applications (VBA) programming experience required

- Experience working with SQL

preferred

- Utilize solid judgment,

technical knowledge, problem-solving, and customer skills to ensure that

service/fulfillment and project requirements are achieved and maintained.

- Provide exceptional

customer service to owners/and coworkers and establish and maintain strong

working relationship with team and appropriate internal contacts.

- Ability to creatively use

technology to solve challenging business problems.

- Ability to communicate

professionally with owners and coworkers.

- Ability to keep sensitive

information confidential.

- Excellent Written and Oral

communication skills and active listening skills

- Detailed oriented and team

oriented

- Result driven to meet

project deadlines
