Koch Agronomic Services Branding & Communications team is looking for a Branding & Communications Coordinator to join their team in Wichita, KS.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:  

Responsible for tactical implementation of the strategic communications plans

Act as a point of contact with the advertising agency and responsible for ensuring projects are on time and within estimated costs

Steward marketing and communication pieces through the internal review process and ensure materials adhere to brand and compliance standards

Create talking points and presentations that effectively communicate our company and product brand promise

Act as main point of contact for sales team on communication strategies to support customers

Manage all aspects of the marketing plan to ensure plan objectives and deadlines met

Develop clearly defined Decision-Making Framework (DMF)/proposal for each marketing tactic, ensuring team is in alignment. Marketing brief is shared with agency to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Ensure marketing & communication pieces are challenged by subject matter expert. The 'why' behind the tactic is shared with the reviewers to provide context for the piece (strategy, target audience, impact, medium). When changes are requested, responsible for communicating back to requestor how the change will be incorporated (or if not incorporated, the 'why')

Conduct thorough review of marketing materials, ensuring claims align with approved claims databases.

Projects are managed closely to ensure costs are within original scope of work. Invoices are processed and paid by deadlines. Quarterly spend reports are built and key insights from spend report are communicated.

Assist Turf & Ornamental communications manager with execution of marketing plan, particular digital tactics

Requests for various sales collateral are responded to in a timely manner and are quickly vetted with Regional Sales Managers to discuss value creation and possible next steps.

What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:

5 years of experience in a marketing, communications or product management role

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience developing press releases, talking points and speech writing

Experience with AP style of writing and editing

Ability to articulate complex technical subjects in a clear and compelling manner

Understanding of marketing and communications best practices and ability to apply those learnings to create demand in the market place

Experience with marketing or communications project management

Strong attention to detail

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of turf & ornamental, specialty agriculture, broadacre agriculture industry
Knowledge of print, graphic design, photo and video production processes
Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing
