This role is client-facing, partners with Sales & Account Management and will allow you to see all angles of the Oath media business including invoicing, revenue adjustments, credit memos, contract reviews, insertion orders and client communications. This role has a direct impact on revenue, client relationships and the perception clients have of Oath.

About the Team

The Billing & Adjustments Analyst is part of the Oath Order to Cash (OTC) team, which is responsible for all the activities related to delivering services to, and collecting payment from, our clients. Five primary teams make up the OTC department - Credit Verification, Order Quality, Billing & Reporting, Collections and Cash Application. The faster and more efficient our ordering process is, the happier and more loyal our clients will be to Oath and the company's future revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with Sales, Billing, Credit, Collections and Cash Applications teams to achieve overall Order to Cash process efficiency

Serve as single point of contact for escalated client issues including reconciliation questions, collections initiatives and client-requested enhancements

Perform detailed reconciliation and review across third party ad campaigns for all Oath products

Utilize technical expertise in Oath ad serving technology and third party serving systems to ensure invoice accuracy

Train Sales and Account Management personnel on process workflow considerations

Collaborate with clients and Sales on adjustment requests, review details and make determinations on processing levels in accordance with Oath policy

Interpret and implement new billing processes and standards as new products are onboarded, which can often require partnering with OMS Administrators and/or Corp Applications

Contribute to user acceptance testing as systems, processes and products evolve

Create process documentation as Oath creates/updates products

Partner with Revenue Accounting to resolve deferred revenue reconciliation issues

Collaborate with Collections and clients to resolve invoice disputes

Perform internal and SOX compliance testing, including population reporting, sample support pulls and walkthroughs of audit documentation with internal and external auditors

Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions, as needed

Relentless Process Improvement Focus - must have proven experience improving processes resulting in time/cost savings

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred

Experience reviewing client contracts, terms & conditions and contractual financial details

Proven experience working with key controls, internal/external auditors, populations, support and SOX testing

Understanding of billing and revenue processes

Previous relevant experience with full ownership of end to end process required

Outstanding MS Excel skills

Meticulous attention to details

Knowledge of large ERP system (ie. Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred

Previous experience with Ad Servers is a distinct advantage
