U.S. Bank's Mortgage Servicing division is seeking a Quality Analyst in the Bankruptcy dept. In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating the quality of work as measured against timeliness, accuracy and productivity standards. Documents quality issues, measures performance and quality improvements for management review.  Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures. Responsible for setup of new Bankruptcy and closing of account once Discharge, Dismissal or Motion for Relief has been granted.  Review account status and perform reconciliation of account to ensure proper credit is given on payment received.  Work closely with  internal departments, in-house legal counsel and outside counsel to ensure proper handling of the loan.  Respond to inquiries from internal audit teams when a finding is identified.  Ensure procedures are adhered to at all times.  Prepare correspondence to clients, counsel, and courts.   Performs a variety of document processing and record keeping tasks associated with customer accounts Duties may include entering new account information; changing information on existing accounts; recording transactions; answering customer inquiries; resolving customer problems, receiving, classifying, consolidating and summarizing documents and information; and completing reports.



Performs reviews and evaluations of work quality and productivity standards for assigned product line and/or work area.

Answer calls from external and internal customers.

Measures the proper application of and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines and procedures.

Identifies and documents quality issues and performance deficiencies and communicates to management.

Identifies and provides information that assists in providing proper feedback and training to employees.

Recommends changes in procedures and workflow to improve work quality and productivity.

Ensures necessary data is submitted to computer database used in assigned area in a timely and accurate manner.

Provides regular reports to management summarizing the quality performance of the assigned area.

Completes special projects as assigned.','!*!Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent- One to two years of experience in quality analysis and measurement activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred along with 2-3 year of Bankruptcy Experience and a general knowledge of legal and regulatory issues.

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

In-depth knowledge of Consumer products, services, terminology, procedures and systems related to assigned area

Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems
