What Your Role at Prudential Would Look Like This position reports to a QA Manager within the Annuities Technology Quality Assurance department. This position can reside in one of our locations in Shelton, CT, Iselin, NJ, or Moosic, PA. The Associate Quality Assurance Tester\u00a0will work closely with our QA Test Leads to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to all Quality Assurance standards and procedures. This encompasses working on testing efforts on our initiative projects, working closely with all project team members, and ensuring a high-quality deliverable for our business partners. The Associate Quality Assurance Tester\u00a0role will provide you with valuable experiences and exposure to: New and innovative solutions on different platforms Various systems development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile, etc.) Supporting and maintaining existing applications to deliver new capabilities Business users and other technology roles Big Data, Web technologies and various programming languages Responsibilities: Performs the role of a QA Tester across multiple applications as assigned The candidate will, under direct supervision, participate in a full software development life cycle from requirements through implementation Reviews all requirements and assist in the creation a test strategy for a project Prepares test planning and test execution artifacts Writes test cases, executes the cases, and analyzes the test results Helps analyze multiple paths of testing utilizing a risked based approach Identifies any potential test automation candidates Provides input into high quality estimates at three different project phase levels Participates in test case peer reviews and resolves any action items Helps generate a test execution forecast and adheres to it Provides UAT support and ensures that our customers are satisfied thus increasing our perceived value Assists in compiling all project related metrics utilizing Excel, Power BI and ALM Be a part of a QA team that ensures high-quality deliverables for our business partners Qualifications Qualifications: \u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer related field or relevant experience preferred \u2022Quality Assurance\/Quality Engineering or technical related experience \u2022Proven experience on a technology project or initiative in a college or business environment \u2022The ideal candidate must have excellent people, interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills \u2022Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities \u2022Able to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team \u2022Ability to work within a team or independently \u2022Takes ownership of tasks and sees them though to conclusion escalating where appropriate \u2022Demonstrates an analytical mindset with a detail oriented focus \u2022Willingness to take initiative and intelligent risks Technical Requirements: \u2022Experience with or proven ability to learn various technologies (e.g., UNIX, Client\/Server Apps, Web based, ETL) preferred \u2022Ability to utilize a RDBMS Ex: (SQL, Oracle, Access) preferred \u2022Understanding of Financial Services a plus \u2022Experience with Test Automation Technology (e.g., UFT, SOAP UI, Python) a plus \u2022Experience with Quality Assurance tools a plus (ALM, Power BI, TDM) \u2022Agile methodology experience a plus \u2022Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Prudential is a multinational financial services leader with operations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
