**Careers that Change Lives:**

Support the Medtronic Tempe Campus to complete month-end financial close activities, provide financial analysis and support RD business partner.

**A Day in the Life:**

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following:

Participate in month-end and quarter-end financial close fiduciary responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries

Provide general ledger support by performing various ad-hoc variance analysis and compilation of monthly reports

Prepare monthly/quarterly flash report

Perform various ad-hoc variance analysis and compile monthly reports

Support the effort to create improve processes around:

Month-end close

Strategic planning financial reporting

Month/Quarter-end reporting

AOP reporting

Assist with various expense models, AOP, strategic plan and forecasting activities

Perform additional financial analysis for special projects upon request

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements:**

Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

Experience Required:

1 years accounting or finance experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Required:

Experience with MS Excel

**Nice to Have:**

High attention to detail and accuracy

Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products

Working knowledge of SAP

Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting systems

Previous experience in financial close process


Demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities

Strong organizational skills
