This position is responsible for defining the strategy, approach and content; developing detailed plans, and managing the delivery of training, communication and awareness on Information Security, Privacy, Confidentiality, Compliance, and Ethics, as well as other ERC related topics for employees worldwide. In addition, this position assists in change management to ensure that critical efforts such as policy and standard changes and security/compliance related projects are understood and land appropriately in order to achieve the desired outcome and return on investment. In alignment with Best Buy\u2019s overall strategy, the role serves as a liaison between senior leadership and employees in communicating Best Buy\u2019s goals, values and best practices to bring about organizational awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements or change to allow Best Buy to maintain its trusted reputation as an ethical and secure environment for conducting business among customers, shareholders, business partners and employees.Lead the development and execution of a global enterprise-wide training and communication strategy for the ERC organization from a legal, audit, privacy, and risk perspective to effectively train and communicate all employees across the Enterprise.Ensure that the strategy incorporates legal, regulatory and commercial requirements including but not limited to:
Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards
International, federal, state and local laws and standards
Internal security and compliance controls

Assist corporate compliance team partners in the development and execution of an enterprise-wide training and communication plan to relevant audiences. This will entail meeting with risk and compliance partners to identify training and communication needs; as well as developing training, communication and awareness resources (e.g. eLearning, master calendar, training materials, a streamlined intake process and tracking of requests).
Monitor perceived or real global compliance concerns received through various external sources and internal data repositories throughout the enterprise (e.g., ethical cultural survey, benchmarking, hotline reports, websites, industry networking, and compliance news outlets). Conduct research into these concerns, and devise a strategy to enhance, build, or modify the training and communications strategy.
Respond to requests for investigative information from Best Buy\u2019s legal, audit and employee relations departments as well as from outside counsel.
