Job Description

Looking for driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated people to join IBM's Global Administration team in (Westchester, NY, and NYC).

As an administrative assistant, you will support the daily operational requirements for executives, with a focus on detail, time management, accuracy, and timeliness to ensure productivity and effective closures.

Duties include, but not limited to:

calendar management

international and domestic travel arrangements

expense processing and charge card reconciliation.

The ability to handle numerous tasks concurrently while maintaining a professional demeanor is a must. Potential candidates should understand business challenges and be able to adapt to those challenges through streamlined and effective support while anticipating the needs of the executives. The ability to develop a strong understanding of the executives' organization and communicate effectively in order to build a strong relationship where the executives rely on the assistant in all aspects is key. In this role, you must maintain strong technology skills and take the responsibility and ownership to keep up to date on IBM processes and tools. Potential candidates demonstrate professionalism, independent thinking, organization/time management, problem solving, ability to work in a team environment and the ability to be proactive at all times. Attendance, punctuality and a strong consistent work ethic are key to ensure continuity with peers and executives supported.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Bachelor's Degree

At least 1 year of recent assistant experience, IBM Global Administration
