Here, we’re family. Old Navy – a brand for everyone a place for you! Job Summary: The Assistant Buyer assists in the development, execution and communication of merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the financial objectives of Canada online.  General Responsibilities:Manage the financial success of Canada online by meeting sales, gross margin and inventory productivity goals for the assigned division Participate in formulation of pre-season strategy with manager and cross-channel partners Partner with manager and cross-functional partners in creating pre-season financial sales and inventory plans by department, classes and/or styles Review, recap and share out actual sales performance weekly/monthly Manage day in day out promotions based on sales and inventory turns at the style level Partner with manager to analyze historical data and current product trends to identify risks/opportunities and develop action plans to achieve financial goals Partner with manager and cross-functional partners to influence pricing and styles/categories for all marketed events Review all marketing and creative to ensure cross-channel pricing execution Collaborate with manager and cross-functional partners to share relevant market and channel information specific to your division Work with the OIS/MC’s to recommend and build sorts and review site pricing and hierarchy Re-forecast sales and manage inventory for all basics styles to meet financial goals Partner with manager and cross-channel partners in managing basics markdowns and exit strategies Able to build and maintain productive relationships with buyers and cross-channel partners Provide manager with timely feedback on personal developmental and training needs Actively participate in company sponsored training programs','!*!Required Skills:Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills Possesses an ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills Able to build and maintain productive relationships Technology proficiency, including the ability or aptitude to learn technical applications Proficient in Microsoft Excel Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Must be able to operate a computer','US-CA-SAN FRANCISCO','','Full-time','Old Navy Headquarters','Merchandising/ Buying','Erin Jurevic','','Assistant Buyer, Canada Online']);
