Essential Duties:

Read and identify mechanical equipment on floor plans

The ability to Identify mechanical equipment on drawings

Chillers

Boilers

Pumps

AHU s

FCU s

VAV s

EF s

Understand basic electrical control circuits including 24VAC power and controller input/outputs.

Be proficient and utilize Visio

Understand simple controls networking principles

Display knowledge of controls hardware

Create P&ID s based on contract drawings P&ID s

Develop controls submittals with assistance from senior level application engineers

Understand simple installation methods

Ability to implementation systems graphics per project scope

Create guidelines, standards and templates for typical projects.

Basic knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) requirements for control system installations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience. EIT or PE license desired.

Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with control system architecture design, programing or maintenance desired.
