The focus of the Analyst is to work with business owners to develop and execute EUC (End User Computing)\u00a0solutions to solve business deficiencies, and provide technical support to cross-functional teams and management.

Encompasses Wealth Management Services:\u00a0 Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds
Performs analysis and development tasks for TD Ameritrade\u2019s brokerage applications and systems
Understand special agreements and file specifications between TD Ameritrade, third parties, and/or the Client/Advisor(s)
Successful and accurate processing and reconciliation is critical to TD Ameritrade\u2019s brand value and Regulatory compliant name it withholds in the industry
Provides a mechanism for the department to enhance systems and processes in efforts to remain compliant with industry Regulations as well as make strides in Client value streams
Manage towards forecasted and stated project goals
Handle issue resolution type of requests where business solutions are required on the fly
Interacts with external clients primarily through trade processing or answering business calls/emails


Constant analysis of processes, system changes, third party system changes and specific processing requirements
Perform application design tasks of a moderate to high complexity which may require research and analysis
Analyze and interpret process information and appropriate setup in TD Ameritrade systems
Perform system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation
Works independently and with supervisory review on moderate to highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions.\u00a0 Prepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts
Work closely with internal and external business partners to develop risk management tools, processes, and procedures
Evaluate errors and assist in identifying sources and remediation of causes
Escalate procedural deficiencies and offer solutions
Identify, mitigate, and remediate system issues affecting the client/advisor or business units request, inquiry, etc.
Providing technology or process enhancement solutions to Management
Prepare business partners for change in process in response to system changes or Regulatory requirements
Work closely with external business partners to align processes and procedures to benefit customer base


Knowledge in the specific Business Processes and Back Office/Middle Office Brokerage systems
Documented success of process/system enhancements that align to business needs
Documented experience with the project lifecycle and successful release of large technology projects
Ability to perform in an intense and high volume environment and rectify issues that may result in money risk to the client or TD Ameritrade
Series 7 & 63 required, 24 preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent
4 year college degree in Finance/Technology or a related major preferred
1 to 3 years Brokerage Experience
3 to 5 years of Total Experience
Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed

When the Securities and Exchange Commission eliminated the practice of fixed brokerage commissions on May 1, 1975, none of the major brokerage firms at the time thought anyone would ‘break ranks’ and offer discounted commissions.
