This position is responsible for facilitating new aftermarket business opportunities for all of Sikorsky Aircraft’s product lines across assigned customers. This includes development of aftermarket support strategies and working with the regional Sales team to drive business growth across the region. The Aftermarket Sales Manager also has functional responsibility in identifying and developing sales leads, and is responsible for working closely with the customer support team to ensure that customers are satisfied with our support. Within its assigned customers, the manager will also be responsible for pricing strategies, interfacing with marketing on aftermarket offerings to develop comprehensive marketing plans, and working across the regional sales teams as well as directly with our customers to identify customer needs to capture new business. Once leads are identified, the manager will serve as the Business Acquisition Manager for those aftermarket pursuits and will lead the capture team on sales campaigns. The position will require a broad interface with multiple company disciplines including business development, customer service, training, fleet analytics, engineering, purchasing, operations, aircraft program management, fleet management, field service representatives, logistics support, and technical publications.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop sales leads, establish win plans, and lead or co-lead Business Acquisition Teams to capture opportunities. This includes the marketing, promotion and selling of all related products and services. Assist in the development of business objectives, strategies, and plans specific to your assigned customers or countries including but not limited to developing a funnel of opportunities, projected sales and revenues, and growth strategies to maximize market share Identify strategic partnering opportunities to implement a local proximity strategy and, following the Strategic Relationship & M&A Process, engage in discussions/negotiations with potential partners. Assess competitive landscape and gather/maintain all intelligence data pertinent to Sikorsky strategy. Build strong relationships with customers, Field Service Reps and in-country representatives. Support the creation of Executive Management Review (EMR) material to gain approval for sales strategies and acquire budgets to achieve sales. Regularly interface with appropriate stakeholders and align all pursuits and strategies with management. Be cognizant of all pursuits and ensure they are carried out with an overall eye on maintaining and building positive customer relationships. Customer satisfaction as measured by Market Feedback Analysis (MFA) and fleet availability as well as other metrics.

Basic Qualifications

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated success in working in a matrix environment Ability to establish strong collaboration with all different functions and departments across Sikorsky Aircraft. Ability to create, compose, edit written materials. Excellent oral and presentation skills. Understanding of Sikorsky’s Business Acquisition Process Reporting on new opportunities as well as briefing current pursuits will be a regimented requirement. Wide breadth of experience in rotorcraft aftermarket and with commercial customers including account management, PBL, maintenance, and/or training. Strong analytical skills are required. Ability to be a self-starter and work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision is required. The ability to meet and converse easily in the region with high level ranking officials and/or technical customer personnel is also required as is familiarity and experience with Sikorsky products. Travel up to 30%
