Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including managing phones and emails, scheduling appointments and planning meetings.

For this position, you should be able to use your organizational skills to manage your office space and your time, as you will collaborate with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ultimately, you should be able to support our leadership team members and ensure our day-to-day office operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Support leadership team with daily clerical tasks

Plan meetings (internal and external), venues, food and beverage

Screen minimal phone calls, provide information to callers or connect callers to appropriate people

Schedule appointments and update calendar

Make travel arrangements and reservations for leadership team members

Compose and type reports and correspondence

Create spreadsheets and presentations as directed

 ','!*!Experience and Education

Minimum of 8 years of administrative experience at executive level.  In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations.   

Functional and Technical Skills

Ability to effectively communicate in English.  Effective business writing skills and communication etiquette.  Must be able to utilize a computer for word processing, spreadsheet, calendaring, and presentations.  Hands on experience with MS Office and working knowledge of office equipment.  Strong organizational and time management skills.  Liaise with external contacts and high-level individuals within PPG.
