Job Summary

The intern will work in a program designed to help college students

gain experience and develop the technology, professional and

interpersonal skills to use throughout their career. First American

Interns work in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title

Industry balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level

presentations and networking opportunities while under the close

supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate

students are assigned significant work assignments to support a

specific business function within Accounting and Finance.

During your internship, you will get the opportunity to add value to

the team, in a hands-on environment. Here s what you can expect to

get involved in, including but not limited to: The internee will

primarily work with staff members from three main functional groups of

the facility: Treasury and Investor Relations. In addition, the intern

will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment and the

financial/title industries.

* Shadow members of various areas of Treasury and Investor Relations

* Support the team by learning and performing certain department

functions/transactions

* Engage fellow team members with questions/inquiries

* Maye help perform various month-end and quarter-end close

activities

* Special projects assigned, such as ad-hoc reporting

Job Qualifications:

* College/University students enrolled in a Bachelor s degree

program, Accounting or Finance majors, with 0-2 years of work

experience.

To qualify, candidates will possess the following:

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications. Accounting internship

will require strength in MS Excel, using vlookups and pivot

tables.

* Comfortable working with large sets of data.

* An interest and willingness to learn about the Mortgage, Real

Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries.

* The ability to solve problems, be detailed oriented and be

conscientious about all work completed.

* An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company

in the best professional manner as possible.

* The potential to excel in the following competencies:

Communication, Customer Focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork &

Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative.

* Outstanding interpersonal skills.
