A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A-IT INTERNAs an IT intern you will have the opportunity to use your education to tackle real world technology challenges. You will be given multiple assignments throughout the summer that will introduce you to several IT functions. Below are the types of opportunities you may be exposed to during your internship:Business System Analyst: Information gathering from the business groups, involvement in system design, knowledge and support of applications and business processes, quality assurance testing, and in-depth interaction with the software development team, including some basic database query writing. SAP Associate: Building and developing SAP business analysis, functional and technical knowledge and skills via participation in various SAP disciplines which support critical business areas including: Finance, Order-to-Cash, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Plant Maintenance, Procurement (Requisition-to-Pay), and Manufacturing. Application Systems Analyst: Support the daily operations of the business through technical analysis and application support of the diverse Koch Companies business applications. Collaborate with other IT teams to develop new processes and procedures resulting in greater efficiency and value creation for the business. Infrastructure/Platform Solutions:Network Analyst: Provide support for globally distributed Wide Area Network, Local Area Network, voice telephony, and wireless network infrastructure. Storage Analyst: Manage a diverse storage environment of more than 1 PB in size by leveraging multiple types of storage array technologiesServer Analyst: Provide administration and support of Windows, Linux, and UNIX server environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting.IT Security Analyst: Work within our IT Security team managing Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems, and forensics tools to ensure the security of our IT environment.
